About me
My Story

My love of early childhood development and working with children and families began at my first job as an occupational therapist (OT) at the Children's National Medical Center (CNMC) in Washington D.C., where I provided inpatient and outpatient services.
Then, I continued my career at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) where I have worked in acute care, inpatient rehab, and clinics as an OT for over 10 years. Along with CHOP, I provided early intervention services, through Virtua, to children and their families in their homes for 2 years before branching off to start my own practice.

I have been inspired to start this practice because I have a sincere passion for infant and early childhood development and supporting families during the early stages of parenthood. I also have personal experience with needing extra support in the early stages because both of my own children had long stays in the NICU after being born very premature. Due to my background, I had some instincts of how to navigate the post NICU journey, however, it was still a long and challenging road, and I learned a lot along the way.

My Mission
My mission for this practice is to share my knowledge of development from years of clinical experience and personal experience to help your infants and toddlers in a home based, family-centered approach. I think there is significant value in providing therapy and developmental support within a child's own environment. This support can have a substantial impact on participation and outcomes of a baby's overall development. My goal is to provide timely developmental consults (not wait and see) to allow for early detection of any issues. Within these consults, I want to provide personalized activities and resources for you and your baby when you need them most.
I am also a Certified Educator of Infant Massage (CEIM) through Infant Massage USA. I am excited to share all the benefits infant massage has to offer to babies and their families. Infant massage can be a great activity for caregivers to set aside time to bond with their babies, and it is an evidence-based tool to improve the way your baby experiences their world.
